The Business Development Specialist drives revenue growth by proactively engaging customers, understanding their needs, and recommending high-value products and services.
The role focuses on enhancing customer experience while identifying and converting opportunities to maximize customer value.
Your Responsibilities:
Accountability A: Proactive Customer Outreach & Engagement - 45%
• Conduct outbound calls to customers across assigned markets
• Build and maintain strong customer relationship
• Identify customer needs and potential opportunities
• Ensure consistent follow-up with customers
• Increase customer retention and loyalty, to prevent churn
Accountability B: Product Experience & Satisfaction Checks - 15%
• Evaluate customer satisfaction with current products/services
• Ask structured questions to customers to uncover pain points
• Document feedback and recurring issue for the team
• Escalate critical concerns to relevant teams
• Contribute to improving overall customer experience
Accountability C: Premium Care Upselling & Revenue Growth - 15%
• Drive the introduction and promotion of Premium Care services as a key priority
• Clearly communicate benefits and value propositions
• Handle objections and customer concerns effectively
• Identify upsell opportunities during conversations
• Achieve individual and team sales targets
Accountability D: Activation of High-Value Products & Features - 10%
• Support customers in activating key products/features
• Provide simple, step-by-step guidance
• Encourage adoption of premium functionalities
• Reduce barriers to product usage
• Ensure customers realize product value quickly
Accountability E: Market-Specific Communication & Localization - 10%
• Adapt communication to non-native English speakers
• Simplify messaging for clarity and understanding
• Demonstrate cultural awareness in conversations
• Adjust tone and approach per market needs
• Build trust through clear and effective communication
Accountability F: CRM Management & Reporting - 5%
• Log all customer interactions accurately in CRM
• Track sales activities and pipeline progress
• Monitor performance against KPIs
• Generate reports and insights for management
• Maintain data quality and consistency
Your Qualifications
• Strong command of English, with confidence in communicating with international
customers
• Strong sales experience with a commercial mindset, balanced with customer service
skills
• Experience with WordPress, web hosting, and overall website management.
• Self-starter with the ability to work independently and manage own pipeline
• Strong team player with good collaboration skills
