Job summary:

We are looking for a highly skilled PHP Full-Stack Developer to join our technology team at Group.one (one.com). The ideal candidate will bring strong backend and frontend development expertise, hands-on experience with modern frameworks, and the ability to build scalable, secure, and high-performance applications. You will work closely with cross-functional teams including product, engineering, QA, and DevOps to deliver end-to-end solutions that enhance customer experience and business outcomes.

This role requires strong problem-solving skills, clean coding practices, and a passion for building reliable, maintainable, and testable software in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable, secure applications using PHP (Symfony) and React.js, ensuring clean, reusable, and efficient code.
• Build and integrate RESTful and GraphQL APIs, and work with relational databases like MySQL/PostgreSQL for schema design, optimization, and complex querying.
• Implement unit tests using PHPUnit or Pest, and maintain high code quality through automated testing and best practices.
• Use Docker for environment setup, containerization, and deployment workflows.
• Collaborate with UI/UX teams for responsive frontend delivery and participate actively in code reviews, pair programming, and continuous improvement.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize application performance and scalability.
• Work effectively with Git version control and branching strategies in a collaborative environment.
• Contribute to Agile ceremonies (planning, estimation, stand-ups, retrospectives) and partner with product/QA teams to translate requirements into technical tasks.
• Ensure clear documentation of new features, architectural changes, and workflows.

Required Skills (Mandatory)

• Strong expertise in PHP (Symfony), RESTful & GraphQL APIs, and hands-on experience with MySQL/PostgreSQL including schema design and SQL optimization.
• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and React.js, with solid understanding of unit testing using PHPUnit or Pest and modern testing best practices.
• Skilled in Git version control and adept at using Docker for environment setup and containerization.
• Strong grounding in relational database concepts and the ability to build scalable, maintainable backend and frontend components.

Required skills (Optional / Nice to have)

• Experience with TypeScript.
• Familiarity with Inertia.js.
• Exposure to microservices, CI/CD pipelines, and API security concepts.

Education and experience requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree (B.Tech. or B.E.) in Computer Science or Information Technology

• 4–6 years of relevant experience in PHP, Symfony, and React.js.
