Job summary:

We are looking for a highly skilled DevOps Engineer to join our Development (CIO) - India team at group.one (one.com). The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, cloud infrastructure, automation, and system reliability. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including Development, QA, Security, and Design team.

Responsibilities:

• Building and operating production environments (Debian, Kubernetes)

• Developing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, tools and scripts to support build, deployment, and maintenance processes

• Building Docker images for applications and services

• Supporting the transformation of infrastructure toward Kubernetes, as well as providing internal consulting for teams already working with Kubernetes

• Evaluating and introducing new technologies and tools to continuously optimize processes and improve the developer experience

• Ongoing communication with internal development teams regarding deployment and operations (requirements analysis, sparring, solution proposals, troubleshooting, etc.)

• Active monitoring and troubleshooting our order-to-cash systems and operating environments

• Developing internal self-service tools and various automation utilities

Your Profile

• Solid experience with Kubernetes in terms of system architecture, troubleshooting and practical usage (additional experience with Rancher and/or FluxCD is a bonus)

• Solid experience with Ansible for configuration management and automation

• Solid  experience with Terraform and IaC

• Solid experience with tech-stacks and principles regarding monitoring, central log management, APM and system metrics

• You know your way around common RDBMS like MySQL/Percona and PostgreSQL configuration, tuning and operations

• Proficient with Bash and Python

• Several years of experience as system administrator or system engineer with a strong track record

• Strong communication skills and proficient in English (min. B2/C1)

• Basic experience with software engineering and being able to communicate with development teams eye-to-eye

• Motivated to write clear, well-structured and well-formatted documentation (Confluence, Markdown / DaC)

• You enjoy taking responsibility, working autonomously, leading topics, and supporting development teams on their path to success

Education and experience requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree (B.Tech. or B.E.) in Computer Science or Information Technology

• 5-8 years of relevant experience in Docker, Kubernetes, Ansible, CI/CD.
